The Amazing Swimming Test

"Oh no! We are late for our swimming test!" shouted Mrs Redward, and then she said, "Pack up room 13 we are late for swimming, the quicker you pack up the more free choice you get in the deep blue pool." We packed up quickly, got our swimming togs and lined up. "Chatter, chatter, chatter," went the kids. Stomping and stamping went our shoes. Bang, bang bang went our swimming bags. We walked and then ran along the hard concrete. Finally we are on the cranky old bus. "Aaah," I whispered to myself. "Come sit here," Aretoula spoke. "No, come sit here," mumbled Anecia. I sighed and said, "Stop fighting over me." I wanted to sit by Olivia and Aretoula and Anecia so I sat down by myself and never questioned them. Bang the chair went beside me, I looked to the right and saw Olivia. Broom, broom broom went the bus. I looked out of the window, we were nearly at the nice warm pools.

Our Walk

"I'm bored," I shouted out loudly, so mum suggested we go for a walk. I said, "Yes!" So we got in the car, Kees in, Neve in, me in, Emily in, Off we go! Hold on, we forgot mum and dad. "Come on," I said to myself. Finally they came. I said, "Why did you take so long?" They said, "Because we were getting ready." So off we went. On the way I saw lots of grassy hills and I saw a white furry goat. I said to Kees and Neve, "Can you say Maaaa." First Neve did Maaa, then Kees maaa, next I did Maaaa.

Sadly, mum said it was too cold and dark up there so we went on driving. Then we found a place, I don't know what it is called. So we got out of the car and saw some runners running down the hill. Some were really puffed and some were just starting. Next we saw a soft white feathery stick. Emily picked one up too, we waved them in the air and feathery stuff came out. Me and Emily had a serious battle, then mum and dad said, "Come on you two!" Dad shouted, "Those sticks are annoying" so he threw them down the hill. When we finished our walk, someone had the stick we threw down so we laughed.

Then we saw these funny machines, they were on the grass. They were free to try so I tried one. You had to push yourself up, it was hard, everyone tried. Then we saw horses so we went and patted them, it was very cute and a bit soft. After that we got icecream from the dairy, so we licked the icecream all the way home.

Volcanoes

Volcanoes are dangerous.  I know about volcanoes becuse my mum told me!  Rock bombs look like bombs but it is hot.  Magma is underground because they are yellow like the sun.  But it's not safe to go jump in the lava because it's too hot.  If you touch the lava your hands will get burnt.

Happy Feet

Happy Feet was a little penguin, he was lost at the Wellington Beach, then some people found him eating sand.  So those people brought a box to put the penguin in.  When they got in the car, they grabbed the sand out of Happy Feet's mouth.  Then they put Happy Feet in the Zoo and those people said Happy Feet is feeling well but he still needs to get fat.  When Happy Feet gets fat, those people can set him free to go to his family.  I think he felt excited to get back to his family and if he was swimming in the sea, when he felt a bit hungry, he's going to catch a fish!

My Cows

Yippee!  My cow is coming home, she has been gone for a long time, she has been gone since last year.  I really miss her, she might have had her baby but I hope she has not had it at my cousins.  She has been there because we want to have another calf, they are cool!  I've already got three, they still drink milk and my mum feeds them every morning.  I like to mix the milk for them, I love my cows.  I do not feed them because I'm scared of the ram because whenever we get one, it always hurts someone in my family.  When I am used to the ram, I will feed the cows too!
